Chinese numerologie concentreert zich op het Lo Shu Magic Square — een 3x3 raster waarin elke rij, kolom en diagonaal tot 15 optelt. Volgens de legende verscheen het op een goddelijk schildpad die uit de Lo-rivier opsteeg.
