Parkha

In Tibetan numerology, the Parkha refers to one of eight trigrams (derived from the Chinese Ba Gua) that are assigned based on the year of birth and gender. Each Parkha corresponds to an element, a direction, and a set of personality characteristics. The Parkha system connects the individual to the larger cycles of nature and cosmic order recognized in Tibetan cosmology.
