Elder Futhark

The Elder Futhark is the oldest known runic alphabet, consisting of 24 runes used by Germanic peoples from roughly the 2nd to the 8th century CE. In runic numerology, each rune carries both a phonetic value and a numerical position (1 through 24) that is used for divinatory and numerological analysis. NUMINOS includes Elder Futhark analysis in its runic tradition module.
