Digital Root

The digital root is the single-digit value obtained by repeatedly summing the digits of a number until only one digit remains. It is the foundational arithmetic operation in nearly every numerological tradition and is mathematically equivalent to the remainder when dividing by 9 (with 0 recorded as 9).
